This item is a copper tsuba for a Tantou with Takaniku carving and gold inlay.

Itis a blackish copper tsuba made from shakudo, an alloy of copper with a small amount of gold added.

The high-pitched (Takaniku) carved crane and gold-inlaid pine tree are very gorgeous.
