The USA Dunable Gnarwhal 7 isn’t just another extended-range build — it’s part of Dunable’s first-ever 7-string run, the models that debuted at NAMM and officially launched the brand into extended-range territory. These early examples mark the beginning of Dunable’s 7-string chapter, and guitars from this era are the ones players and collectors keep an eye on.

This particular Gnarwhal 7 pairs a Black Limba body with a 1-piece Korina neck — a tonewood combination that delivers a powerful, resonant midrange with warmth, punch, and impressive clarity across all seven strings. The rosewood fingerboard adds smooth articulation and balance, while the 666mm scale length keeps the low end tight and controlled without sacrificing playability.

Visually, the Trans White finish is something special. Instead of hiding the wood, it lets the grain of the Black Limba breathe through the finish, creating subtle movement and depth across the body. The result is clean, modern, and striking — a finish that looks almost ethereal under light while still feeling organic and raw. Paired with the aggressive curves of the Gnarwhal body, it gives the guitar a uniquely boutique aesthetic that stands apart from typical extended-range builds.
