The VCR and DVD players themselves both work perfectly with excellent picture and audio output via HDMI. No problems found with VHS playback. Without a remote, device can be powered on by pressing DVD eject. VHS player itself functions when a tape is inserted and can be ejected by pressing and holding STOP on DVD side for three seconds. With a remote (not included) all features will be able to be controlled without issue bypassing the front panel. Flip cover panel hinge over the SD card slot is loose. Please note that you’re getting an exceptionally good quality VHS player BUT only purchase with these issues in mind.
