Here is a vintage and highly coveted JBL D120F 12" Alnico speaker with original cone; however, I accidentally put a small hole in the surround part of
the cone (see photo). I think it could be easily repaired with rubber cement so that you could keep the original cone, as nearly every JBL D120F out there on the used market has been reconed. Very hard to find one with the original cone. The speaker still sounds great, even with the hole, but it would need
to be repaired so that the damage doesn't get worse with use. Or course
the speaker could simply be re-coned if the buyer prefers, but I would
try to salvage the original cone on this one. The speaker is labeled as 8 - 16 ohms, but it measures in at 9.1 ohms on my multi-meter. This is very heavy
speaker so shipping is a bit pricey.
