Haunted Vessel: Mid-Century British Coin – The Energetic Spirit of an RAF Mechanic
Please Note: Per platform policies, this item is being sold as a physical, tangible coin. The accompanying history and spiritual experiences are shared for entertainment purposes only.
The Vessel
For your consideration is a genuine King George VI mid-century British coin. While the coin itself is a beautiful piece of post-war history, its true significance is the highly active, protective spirit tethered to it. I acquired this piece from an estate sale near a former Royal Air Force station in Lincolnshire. The energy radiating from it is distinct: it feels restless, lively, and incredibly grounded.
The Spirit: Thomas "Tommy" Miller
Through a series of K-II meter sessions and deep EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recordings, the entity attached to this coin has identified himself as Tommy.
Age at Passing: 26
Era: Late 1940s, Lincolnshire, England.
Background: Tommy served as a ground crew mechanic for the RAF during the years immediately following the Second World War. He was a cheerful, practical young man who was constantly tinkering with engines, radios, and motorcycles. He kept this coin in the pocket of his oily overalls, often using it as a makeshift screwdriver to pry open stubborn tins of grease or paint.
Cause of Passing: Tommy passed away suddenly in the autumn of 1949. While riding his prized motorcycle down a slick country lane during a heavy rainstorm, he skidded and struck a stone wall. His passing was instantaneous and without prolonged suffering. Because he was so deeply attached to the physical world and his projects, his spirit anchored to his everyday pocket charm.
Energy & Pet Safety
If you are seeking a dark, brooding, or terrifying haunt, this vessel is not for you. Tommy brings a burst of masculine, active, and protective energy to the home.
Completely Pet Safe: Tommy is wonderful with pets, particularly dogs. In life, the ground crew had a station mascot (a scrappy terrier), and Tommy loved tossing a ball for him. You may notice your dogs suddenly perking their ears up as if listening to a faint whistle, or happily bringing their toys to the area where the coin is kept.
Household Vibe: He brings a "tinkering" energy to the house. You might occasionally hear the faint, residual sound of metal clinking, a quiet, tuneful whistling from an empty room, or smell sudden, brief wafts of old motor oil, rain-soaked wool, or strong black tea.
How to Communicate & What He Likes
Tommy is an eager communicator who loves a busy, active household, especially if there are ongoing projects or renovations.
Communication Methods: Because of his mechanical background, Tommy is exceptional at manipulating electronic equipment. He will frequently light up EMF or K-II meters on command to answer questions. On a Spirit Box, you might hear a cheeky "Hello, mate" or the sound of him whistling a tune.
Offerings & Likes: Keep his coin somewhere active, like a home office, workshop, or garage. He loves the sound of upbeat swing music or the lively chatter of a radio. To welcome him, leave a small metal trinket, an old wrench, or a polishing cloth next to his coin.
Why am I rehoming him?
My current focus is strictly on analyzing quiet, medieval artifacts. Tommy’s lively, energetic presence can sometimes interfere with the delicate electronic equipment I use for my research. He deserves a home where his active energy is welcomed and where he can quietly "help out" a family that enjoys a busy, vibrant household.
