Old Bennington / Rockingham Ribbed Scalloped 8" Low Bowl

This old bowl is in the Bennington or Rockingham brown and yellow colors. Not sure what to call it. It sort of looks like the old Turks head mold, but without the center piece. It may be some type of pie plate or baking mold. It actually measures 7 7/8" across and is 1 1/2" high. There is a bonded crack on the side and an old chip on the rim (see pictures). The bowl is solid and I tapped it hard to make sure. It weighs 20 ounces. I do not remember ever seeing one shaped like this piece. The bottom shows a lot of normal age where on all the high spots. I date this to 1900 or earlier.
