This impressive 2014-S Kennedy 50th Anniversary High Relief Silver Half Dollar was struck to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the beloved Kennedy Half Dollar first introduced in 1964. Produced at the San Francisco Mint, this special collector strike features a dramatically sculpted high-relief portrait of President John F. Kennedy paired with the classic heraldic eagle reverse designed by Frank Gasparro. The coin was issued with a distinctive Enhanced Finish, blending mirrored fields and satin-frosted devices to create exceptional visual contrast and depth.

Graded a flawless NGC SP70 DPL (Deep Prooflike) with Early Releases designation, this specimen represents the very finest level of preservation. The reflective fields are jet-black and highly mirrored while the devices display a rich frosty texture that produces striking cameo contrast. The high-relief format gives Kennedy’s portrait bold sculptural depth, making the design appear almost medallic in appearance. With pristine surfaces and superb eye appeal, this example stands as a beautiful modern tribute to one of the most iconic designs in American coinage.
