The Legend

This doll was found sealed inside the wall of a derelict convent in Montelupo Fiorentino, Tuscany — not far from where a devastating fire consumed the orphanage of Santa Maria delle Anime Perdute (Saint Mary of Lost Souls) in 1908. The fire claimed the lives of 23 children. Only one body was never found: a boy known only as Tomasito, an orphan of unknown origin.

He was said to be unusually quiet, often found standing in corners, unmoving, always watching. Nuns wrote in journals that he had “eyes too old for his face” and would often sing to himself in a language no one recognized.

The fire started, according to archived letters, in the very dormitory where Tomasito slept — though no match, candle, or accelerant was ever found.

When this doll was uncovered in 2016 during demolition of the ruined convent, it was discovered behind a false altar panel, seated upright in a small stone cavity. His eyes had been painted solid black, his clothing singed at the hem. Nearby lay an iron crucifix broken in half and a page from a scorched prayer book that read simply:
“Non lasciarlo svegliarsi.”

> "Do not let him wake."

Paranormal Manifestations

Since removal from the site, the doll has shown multiple signs of unbound spiritual activity, confirmed by independent investigators in both Europe and the U.S.:

Eye Movement: Numerous witnesses have reported the doll’s pupils “resetting” overnight — despite being painted on.

Shadow Casting: In multiple locations, Tomasito has cast a human-sized shadow, even when placed under direct light with no obstruction.

Sleep Paralysis Reports: Every owner to date has experienced episodes of vivid sleep paralysis, often accompanied by a whispering voice speaking in guttural Italian, which ceases immediately when the doll is removed from the room.

EVP Recordings: Captured utterances include:

“Hai acceso il fuoco?” (“Did you light the fire?”)

“Sto ancora qui.” (“I’m still here.”)

And most disturbingly: “Chi mi nasconde… brucerà.” (“Who hides me… will burn.”)

Current State & Binding Efforts

Tomasito is not currently bound. Two professional attempts were made to cleanse or seal the entity — both resulted in physical disturbances (shattered mirrors, bleeding walls, unexplained fires). As such, the doll is housed in a cedar-lined containment box, layered with consecrated cloth, and sealed with an iron latch. Buyers are strongly advised not to remove him from this enclosure unless fully prepared.

The entity is highly intelligent and possibly resentful, with energy that grows stronger around emotionally vulnerable individuals or during the 3 AM hour.

Recommended For Experienced Paranormal Handlers Only

This is not a doll — it is a vessel. Whether Tomasito is seeking a voice, justice, or vengeance remains unclear. What is known is that his presence has never gone unnoticed, nor has it ever faded. He waits, silently… patiently.
