THE ITEM

Shelley fine bone china has a Worldwide reputation for quality and remains very collectable. We are offering a delightful little collection of three different shapes of demitasse cups and saucers.

They comprise a Pink Roses Regent shape cup and saucer in pinks and greens with gilded edgings; a white New Cambridge shape cup and saucer with pastel blue detail; and a white Savoy shape coffee can and saucer with powder pink trim.

Please note: This is just one of our current Shelley listings, including teasers,  trios and duo.

CONDITION

Remarkably good for such delicate examples of Shelley quality which are around 70 years old. There are no chips, cracks or discolouration (see images).  

PRICING

Whenever possible our asking prices are based on either our knowledge of the genre or on what similar pieces have actually been sold for on the international market, rather than what some sellers are asking, which are usually two very different things! We do our best not to be greedy, but neither do we give things away. We hope our pricing is always fair and thoughtful and represents good value.

You will normally find that our prices sit somewhere in the middle between auction and professional dealer prices and we are always willing to consider fair and realistic offers. 

SHIPPING

We have a 100pc success rate for over a decade of successfully shipping fragile glassware and ceramics across the UK and the wider World. We only charge what the Post Office and couriers charge us. 

International shipping? Since Covid, we have started to use eBay's Global Shipping Programme for packages over 2kg because it has proved to be competitive and reliable. They also look after the paperwork, which these days is helpful to buyer and seller, given the current complex tariffs.
