The brand new Sonik HEROX Carp Rod range is the result of Soniks extensive search around the globe for the best possible materials at the best prices. The result of this extensive effort, combined with Sonik's intimate knowledge and experience in designing some of the best carp rods on the planet, has resulted in HEROX. The HEROX series are leaner, lighter and faster than any of their predecessors at this price-point.
These carp rods feature slim, lightweight sleek carbon blanks with a progressive casting action which offers amazing power on the cast giving these fishing rods true multi-range performance, with enough back bone in the rod to cope with large PVA bags or method feeders and the largest carp or even catfish. With the addition of the super fast tip recovery which will cushion any long runs and prevent hook pulls at the landing net, you have a range of fishing rods that will cope with any carp fishing situations.
Sonik have used super light M-Series DL black guides throughout the rod, making the rods incredibly lightweight and have included a 17mm black DPD reel seat which will house even the largest of big pit fishing reels. Keeping with the sleek Sonik Rod style, the rods feature discrete HEROX green tippings, a slim japnese shrink wrap butt grip with handle flare and a black anodised butt cap has been laser etched with the trademark Sonik S logo. A great addition is the line friendly custom contoured Sonik clip which allows you to keep the correct angle of line to your fishing bite alarms no matter what style of fishing whether it be fishing tight lines at distance or slack lines in the margin.
The HEROX range of carp rods are available in a range of sizes, with the 10fts available in 3lb and 3.5lb test curves with 40mm butt rings and are perfect for smaller carp lakes. The 12ft rods are available in 3lb, 3.25lb and 3.5lb and are suitable for all carp fishing situations from small lakes to large gravel pits. However, if you want a carp rod to hit distances of 100m+ then you will need the 13ft 3.5lb model.
