For sale is a pre-owned Swiss Omega Seamaster automatic men's watch, likely produced in the mid/late 1950s.
18K solid gold case and case back. Swiss Omega 501 automatic movement, 20j.
Case ref. 2866 SC 2. 

Original Omega-signed invory-colored dial in excellent condition overall; few tiny age spots can be seen under a loupe.
Hands in good shape, applied golden hourly markers and replacement plexi crystal in excellent condition.
Omega- signed rose gold plated OEM replacement crown.  


18K solid rose gold case and case back, lightly polished; very few light surface scratches remain.

Bezel and lugs in excellent cosmetic condition.

This Seamaster is winding, setting and running well. It is currently excellent excellent vintage time (ca. +5 sec per day, based on a recent 24hr time check).
Comes on a dark red leather strap with signed rose gold plated buckle.

Measurements are ca. 33mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 41mm lug-to-lug. Lug width 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
Men's watches marketed in the 50s and 60s regularly featured case diameters between 31mm and 35mm, while diameters between 36mm -38mm were considered 'oversize' or 'jumbo'.
