A lovely early 20th century Oxford University Press copy of The Book of Common Prayer, presented in 1916 under the charitable trust of Philip, Lord Wharton (1696).
These editions were distributed annually using funds endowed in Lord Wharton’s will for the provision of Bibles and religious texts.
