For sale is a pre-owned rare Swiss Omega Seamaster automatic men's watch, likely produced in the mid  1960s.
14K solid gold case and case back. Swiss high grade Omega 550 automatic movement, adjusted 2 positions, 17j.

Original, rare Omega-signed silver-colored 'grid' textured dual tone dial in good to very good condition; light patina around 2-5h, and the odd tiny age spot, but well preserved overall.
hands in good contition, some oxidation on the second hand.
Replacement plexi crystal in excellent shape. 
Omega-signed gold plated crown.


14K solid yellow gold case and case back by Ross, hallmarked between the lugs.
Case and case back with a few light surface scratches, but in very good condition overall.

This Seamaster is winding, setting and running well. It is currently keeping very good vintage time (ca. +10 sec per day, based on a recent 24hr time check).
It comes on a black leather strap with neutral gold plated buckle.

Measurements are ca. 34mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 40mm lug-to-lug. Lug width ca. 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
Men's watches marketed in the 50s and 60s regularly featured case diameters between 31mm and 35mm, while diameters between 36mm -38mm were considered 'oversize' or 'jumbo'.
