This sharp looking RS-3 style diesel features Forward Only operation (this engine was produced without a motor control board for simple operation), "Maintenance Free" can motor, 4 wheel drive with 2 traction tires, detailed plastic shell & frame, conventional transformer speed control, front (short end) headlight, magnetic operating couplers, works with AC or DC variable track power and has crisp Heavy Duty Construction colors & graphics. 

**This was made as a light weight starter diesel to easily be able to run 3-4 cars around the layout without having to cycle through a 3 position reverse unit, ideal for young engineers and display layouts**

I replaced the 2 traction tires (original ones dried/stretched), lubed the gears & rollers and then briefly tested the functions on my layout and the motor & light worked great!

This engine did not come with an individual box (from set foam pack) but I'll include the original set instruction manual and I will wrap & pack with care prior to shipment. 

I will ship the day after I receive payment and I will discount shipping charges for shipments I can combine the same day.
