Hedychium coronarium, commonly known as the White Ginger Lily, Butterfly Lily, or Garland Flower, is a perennial flowering plant in the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). It is widely celebrated for its intense, honeysuckle-like fragrance and striking white flowers that resemble butterflies. It is totally hardy in the UK, EU and US. Prefers a semi-shade location.
