An absolutely stunning extremely rare one of a kind Antique Victorian solid 15ct 625 yellow gold bar link chain necklace set with a total 12.7cts of natural and very beautiful graduated old mine cushion cut Orange Citrines (tested) - weight is a substantial 17.6g.

At some point a round link curb chain extension was added to either side of the necklace (see photo 6) to make it longer and this part along with the connection links and dog clip clasp all test as solid 9ct gold - the rest of the necklace tests as solid 15ct gold.

The necklace is stamped 15 on one end just before the extension starts - the bar link on the other end is stamped RD49612? (I can't make out the last number) - the dog clip clasp is stamped 9Kt.

The necklace is 15 and 1/4 of an inch - 40cm - long - the connecting oval links measure 2.5mm - the bar links measure 1.5mm - the biggest Citrine measures 9mm × 8.5mm and the smallest measures 7mm × 7mm.

Excellent Antique condition - some of the Citrines have natural line inclusions - these are not damage and don't reach the surface of any of the stones - I am unsure if the darker areas of gold around some of the connecting links are just age related discolouration or from repairs but they are not obvious when worn and take nothing away from this striking piece of history.
