FUNCTION --
Designed to install the seal to correct depth and alignment. The crankshaft rear seal is fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Fit of the inner and outer seal bodies is critical and any misalignment can result in leakage.
 
EASY INSTALLATION --
  1. Ensure that the crankshaft is free of oil and dirt.
  2. Clean the seal bore in the flywheel housing.
  3. Position the crankshaft rear oil seal onto the crankshaft.
  4. Install J 44642 to the crankshaft .
  5. Press the crankshaft rear oil seal into position using J 44642, the tool will bottom out when the seal reaches the proper depth.
  6. Remove J 44642 .
  7. Install the flywheel.

How to install rear Crankshaft Seal For Isuzu 6.6L Duramax Diesel

1. Ensure that the crankshaft is free of oil and dirt.

2. Clean the seal bore in the flywheel housing.

3. Position the crankshaft rear oil seal onto the crankshaft.

4. Install J 44642 to the crankshaft .

5. Press the crankshaft rear oil seal into position using J 44642, the tool will bottom out when the seal reaches the proper depth.

6. Remove J 44642 .
