Bidding is the acknowledgement that it does not have the rod for holding the paper in place, nor does it have the clear plastic receipt tear.  

Overall this is a very nice unit, and the plastic other than the small cracks looks great.  The black base is about as good as it gets, with the exception of one spot where it looks to be touched up with a marker.
