Roman Bone Gaming Die – Circa 100–300 AD – Ancient Artifact

Offered here is an authentic Roman bone gaming die dating to approximately 100–300 AD.

This small cubical die is hand-carved from bone and features incised dot markings on each face. The uneven carving and natural wear are consistent with ancient Roman workmanship and age. Dice such as this were commonly used in Roman gaming, gambling, and leisure activities throughout the Empire.

A wonderful and tangible piece of everyday Roman life, over 1,700 years old.
