Russell J. Donnelly signed 5.5x8.5 colloquium paper. The signature is in black pen ink and is in excellent condition. The paper itself is also in very good condition; a horizontal fold crease is present, light border wear which is mostly present along the bottom border, blank back. 
Russell J. Donnelly is an American physicist best known for his work in low-temperature physics and fluid dynamics, particularly the study of superfluid helium. He spent much of his academic career at the University of Oregon, where he served as a professor of physics and conducted influential experimental research. Donnelly became a leading authority on quantum turbulence and vortex dynamics in superfluids. His publications helped establish foundational understanding of how quantum fluids behave under rotation and flow. He was widely respected in the physics community for both research and mentorship of graduate students.
