Collectors are familiar with Maltine bottles, but this one is a seldom-seen product line - a heavy amber bottle, 7” tall and 2¾” wide, prominently embossed “NEOFERRUM.” This translates to “New Iron” which added iron, magnesium, and Vitamin B1 to your diet in the 1890s. This one is in dug condition and the soil hasn’t been kind to it so it is quite stained but I think that just adds to the age look of it with some nice old bubbles as well, and no damage. If you have Maltines, you need this as part of your collection.
