These trading cards were produced by the Select Australia trading card company and released during the 2002 National Rugby League Competition (Australia and New Zealand) to collectors and the retail market.

The Future Force Signature Trading Cards were a LIMITED EDITION RELEASE and distributed in packets of the 2002 NRL CHALLENGE Rugby League trading card release at a ratio of 1:36 packets.

15 different players representing their Rugby League playing teams were featured in this set of Future Force Signature Trading Cards. 550 Future Force Signature trading cards were released for each player.
