This is a KORG TRINITY plus HDR, expanded with both HDR-Tri (Hard Disk Recording) and PBS-Tri (Sampling Expansion with 8MB Flash Memory).

A fully upgraded and well-maintained 1990s flagship workstation.

■ Expansion & System Details

  • HDR-Tri installed (Hard Disk Recording capability)

  • PBS-Tri installed (adds 8MB flash memory for sampling)

  • OS Version: Final v2.14

  • Internal battery converted to holder type and replaced

  • Factory presets restored

The original FDD had a belt failure and has been replaced with a belt-free direct-drive type FDD (silver bezel, clean appearance).

■ Sound & Memory Expansion

With PBS-Tri installed:

  • Program/Combination banks expanded from 256 → 512 sounds (C & D banks unlocked)

  • Solo-Tri S bank expanded from 64 → 128 sounds

Currently installed:

  • “Mega Piano” (formerly paid expansion content) in C & D banks

(Installation requires loading Disk 1–7 sequentially and finally loading PCG data.)

■ Additional Notes

HDR-Tri can be effectively utilized by converting the SCSI drive to SD card (SCSI-to-SD solution).
Original SCSI hard drives are now difficult to obtain.
