These tough powder coated steel shock extensions install in the factory upper rear shock mount to greatly decrease the chance of over-extending the factory shocks.
These new shock extensions are designed to be use with factory shocks on GM 1500 trucks with 3 Inch rear lift blocks.
Rear shock extensions are not required for every application using a rear lift block and factory shocks.
