This fabulous old set would have been a standard addition on the table settings of the upper middle classes of the late 19th century.
This set would have been magnificent in its heyday and even with the wear from approximately 140 years it still oozes charm and luxury.
It is 40cm tall and consists of a stand and 5 glass vessels for condiments.
There is obvious wear to the silver plate throughout but it is sturdy and all the etched bottles match so a complete set however I suspect at least one of the stoppers is a replacement as they don’t match however they fit nicely and tighten with a twist.
I can’t see a makers mark, it looks like Brittania silver plate and the handle screws on and off for cleaning and storage.
I’ve provided lots of photos for a clear and honest description and done hesitate to ask if you have any queries.
