Manufacturers description: ALLEVYN® ADHESIVE Dressings triple layer construction combines an absorbent hydrocellular pad between a perforated adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof top film that aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination of the wound. The triple layer construction of ALLEYN ADHESIVE Dressings facilitates dynamic fluid management to provide a moist wound healing environment, which promotes healing and may help minimise the risk of maceration. The top film aids in the prevention of fluid and bacterial strikethrough. The dressing can be left in place without the need for secondary fixation and is both easy to apply and
remove.

Please note, as with all adhesive based dressings on sensitive skin, you should discontinue use if reddening or sensitisation occurs.
