What is Blue-base film stock?  Refers to Eastman color prints manufactured with a slightly blue-tinted base, commonly used in the late 1960s–1970s. It is a normal reissue stock of the era and is often less vulnerable to fading and physically more stable (lays flat, resists warping) than earlier Eastman color stocks.
