The large 17” Cherub Vase/Urn by R Capodimonte is a vintage Italian antique collectible featuring intricate details with hand-painted/handmade cherubs and animal heads throughout the piece. 

This glossy grayish green high quality porcelain piece is signed by the artist R Capodimonte and showcases a mystical theme of mythology. 

The porcelain is made of a translucent soft-paste, more beautiful, but much harder to fire than the German hard-pastes.

The double-handled design is made with rich gilding and hand painted underglaze detail.

On the bottom of this vase is the printed backstamp with "R. Capodimonte" and "MRS".
