Because the mount is contoured to the shape of the gateway it gains strength without having to use excessive plastic. It is moulded so that the gateway sits flush with the front of the mount, much better than some of the cheaper mounts available where they are basically shelves. The unit can be installed either front or rear facing, depending on whether you would prefer to access the ethernet ports at the front or the back.

The mount is designed by me so you won't see it for sale anywhere else, my designs are based on real world use and many of them are installed in my clients across the country. It is printed using UK Manufactured high strength ASA Plastic which is both strong, light and has a high softening temperature, I do not use cheap chinese plastic which has a high carbon footprint. It includes rack nuts, bolts and washers in black to give you everything you need to mount your equipment in the rack. Postage will be in a uk sourced recycled / recyclable carboard box, normally with paper infill but may sometimes may contain re-used bubble wrap packaging, I would rather re-use it than recycle it where possible!

This is a 3D printed product and as such there will be manufacturing marks on some non visible surfaces however it's printed on a textured base so that the front face will always look uniform throughout and we use high quality printers to produce the best result possible. The product comes in 3 parts and must be assembled before use, the rack ears slide on and are friction fit, they may require tapping with a hammer to complete the connection securely, this is perfectly normal and ensures the unit doesn't come apart once installed. The back plate for each device is screwed on to keep the product in place securely using the supplied screws.
