The Intel S4510 model, designated Dell 0DC29P DC29P, is designed for server applications, enterprise-class storage, and environments requiring high-capacity yet fast data storage. The Intel S4510 3.84TB SATA SSD is based on Intel 3D NAND TLC memory, which combines high capacity with good durability and energy efficiency, which is important in machines with intensive I/O and an extensive user data profile.
In terms of sequential performance, the Intel S4510 offers speeds of up to approximately 560 MB/s read and up to approximately 510 MB/s write, which utilizes nearly the full bandwidth of the SATA 6 Gb/s bus. In random operations, the drive achieves typical values of 97,000 IOPS for read and 46,500 IOPS for write, which translates into good responsiveness under typical server workloads such as file system support, virtual machine repositories, and business applications.
