Description: A very nice example of the first printing of the first edition. Original green cloth with gilt decorations and titles to the front and spine. Beautifully illustrated by Edmund Dulac with 28 full page colour plates, all present and correct and all with the original captioned tissue guards. 

Original decorative end papers. In very attractive condition with some wear and bumping. Clean and free of inscriptions. Some age toning to the end papers (see pictures). Binding sound and square. 

A really very nice example.
