While these are famous for being great practice amps, the stock speakers can often sound a bit thin or "boxy." This amp has been upgraded with a high quality speaker to solve exactly that.

The Upgrade:
I have swapped the stock speaker for a Celestion Eight 15 (8-ohm). This is widely considered the best possible upgrade for this amp. It adds significant "girth," smoother mids, and a much tighter low-end response.

Condition:
The amp is in excellent/great condition. It has been kept in a smoke-free home and never gigged. The tubes have plenty of life left in them, and the new Celestion speaker is perfectly broken in and sounds fantastic.
