As student of Simon Karasick, who was a student of Remington at the Eastman School, I played an 88H trombone, as many of Karasick students did. The 88H uses the large-bore mouthpiece. I found that when playing euphonium, baritone horn or other tenor trombones my small-bore mouthpiece worked great.
