Here is a Cycle and Automobile Trade Journal postcard circa 1911. It has a mechanical slider to change the miles per hour with the drivers head moving up or down depending on the speed. The postcard is unused and it shows minor wear and age toning. It has a crease on the slider that you can’t see from the front.
