Packed and ready to be shipped! Offered is a great working Electrophic stereo 8 Track player. It’s in good working condition because it was just serviced, please read full description as what was done. As for cosmetics, please view all the close-up pictures. It's very easy to set-up with your stereo system and even has adjustable "Fine Tune" head position. That feature lets you adjust the position of the playback head in case you have a slight alignment issue with your tape. I replaced all the electrolytic capacitors (originals tested good, but it was very easy to do so why not) in hopes to dampen the power off pop, it's still there because of circuit design.

WARNING: Do not purchase an 8 Track player that has not been fully serviced and tested. My advice will more than likely save you from a huge headache. You have to realize these units are now 45+ years old and time is not kind on lube/grease (dries out), rubber belts (loses elasticity or turns to a gooey mess) and controls/switches (stiff and/or dirty) that haven’t moved in decades. Even a NOS (New Old Stock) player that is sealed in the box and never used will more than likely need to be serviced to work properly.
I want to make sure you get a good functioning unit and it will stay that way for some time. You want to be sure it was serviced by someone with knowledge about these old players and not someone just trying to get it barely working to sell it. It’s just too easy for anyone to claim the work has been done without showing any proof. I always include numinous pictures of that process and a quick video of the actual unit playing. It takes time to do things correctly as well as having the correct tools/supplies (see picture in listing).

7. Repeated Playbacks To Check Function & Sound Quality
