The auction is for a good to very good copy of The Pharmacopoeia of the United States of America, Ninth Decennial Revision, 1916.

The book belonged to the Corn Products Refining Company of Pekin, Illinois, and evidently came from a company library.  It has stampings inside the front and back cover and on the tops, bottoms, and sides of the pages.  It also has a card envelope and Date Loaned sheet inside the front cover.  There is a torn area at the bottom spine area of the title page, but that's the only torn area I noticed.

The pale blue block on the publishing page is actually a stamp designating the book as an Official Copy, number 2621.

With one exception, the book is clean, with no markings.  But - the page 456-457 spread for Tincture of Iodine got hit by a leaky pen!  It has a number of small black splotches, and some of them are also on the outer page edges.
