These 4x36 Inch cloth sanding belts use zirconia abrasive with grinding aid. These sanding belts feature a butt joint for a consistent and smooth finish and extended belt life.  This high performance abrasive belt is excellent for carbon steel and hardwood. Zirconia is also great for tough grinding applications like stainless steel and titanium.

Crafted from premium blue zirconia particles, which is high hardness, and heat-resistant. The grinding efficiency and long-lasting are higher than aluminum oxide. The zirconia sanding belt can make metals with higher hardness.

About the Grit

The grit number is printed on the backing of the sanding belts. It will never happen that the granule is more aggressive than the number printed on the backing. Which grit it says on the backing and it's exact the grit. The larger the number is, the finer the grain is. Start with a low grit to efficiently power through most of the material, then switch to a high-grit paper to smooth the surface for the final stain.
