UL Certified D8000 Automatic Door Closer suits traffic entrances, such as storefronts, factories, restaurants, and other public places. This is a door automatic closer for heavy doors that weigh up to 100kg-120kg (250lbs max). Also, it is a non-handed closer that will work on left- or right-handed doors exposed to extreme temperatures.
MATERIAL: This door hydraulic closer is manufactured from US26D satin chrome-plated cast aluminum, wrought steel arm. It features a heat-treated piston and a powder-coated body to enhance corrosion resistance. The heavy-duty door closer features three valves for adjustable closing speed, latching speed, and backcheck. This automatic door closer latches while maintaining quiet operation.
CERTIFICATIONS: These auto close door hinges have a UL-certified three-hour fire rating. This closers also carry the ANSI / BHMA A156.4 certification. As ANSI Grade 1 commercial door hardware with 2 million cycles required, DC8000 suits medium to high-traffic applications, such as interior and exterior doors of department stores, offices, and more. INSTALLATION: Every pack of commercial door closer we provide contains all the necessary hardware, such as brackets and soffit plate, for installation using any of the 3 mounting types. The mounting options for our surface-mounted door closer are regular arm mounting (most power-efficient), top jamb mounting (fairly power-efficient), and parallel arm mounting (with 25% less power efficiency than the other 2 options).
