It is affectionately known as the "Pre-Bond" because it is a model that was released just before the birth of the Bond watch after the 1993 film "The Man with the Golden Gun." This watch (Ref. 368.1041) is equipped with a rare chronometer-standard mechanical automatic movement, rather than the quartz movement that was mainstream at the time. The original design with Mercedes hands and the solid integrated bracelet not found on current models give off the rugged charm that is unique to vintage Omega. |
