Rare 1920s GECoPHONE wooden storage box, originally ^°designed to keep/hold two sets of headphones for a crystal radio. High-quality piece of solid wood with dovetail joints.
In fair condition with a few age-related marks. The panel to separate the two sets of headphones inside is missing. The handle is tarnished but it should polish up. Please see all photographs for condition.
Unusually the GECoPHONE transfer label is in pretty good condition - only slightly worn - not bad a century on. A slither of wood is missing on the lid top front left, and the lock assembly (no key) at the front has been quite amateurly changed.
