- Prior to Use: Upon removing your lamp form its packaging, you may find a coat of oil on the shade (oil is used in the final stage of production to protect the soldering). Please use a soft dry cloth to remove any excess oil. Do not use chemical cleaners, as they may harm the finish of the soldering.
- Clean &Care: To clean the shade, remove dust with either a paper towel or a duster--no household clearners are needed.Occasionally,a white powder may appear on the soldering,as result of Oxidation.To restore the soldering to its original condition,apply a small amount of Mineral Oil to the affected area,remove the oil with a paper towel.
