Ken Bartholomew signed and inscribed 3x5 index card. The signature and inscription are in black pen ink and are in excellent condition. The card itself is also in very good condition; info on Bartholomew is written on the back side which is otherwise blank. 
Ken Bartholomew was an American speed skater who competed in the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz. He won the silver medal in the 500 meters, finishing just behind fellow American Ken Henry in one of the closest races of the Games. Bartholomew was regarded as one of the top sprinters of his era, known for his explosive starts and consistency on the ice. Beyond his Olympic success, he competed in national and international speed skating events throughout the late 1940s. His performance helped cement the United States’ dominance in speed skating during that period.
