"Greetings to all you Peoples Bankers- this is the first edition of The Old Bank- the publication of the employees, officers and directors of the bank.
A number of us have been thinking for some time that our bank has grown too large for news to reach everyone purely by vocal expression. There were times when a piece of gossip could make the rounds of the entire bank in ten or fifteen minutes. There are too many of us now, so it has become necessary to publish the gossip."
