Here is the Lionel Postwar # 3474 Western Pacific Boxcar with the "Rides Like a Feather Logo", Offered in 1952 - 1953 only. This car is all original and is fully operational. It has slight playwear and may benefit from a light cleaning and lubrication. Has metal brake wheel, operating couplers, decals are all in tact and paint is in good condition overall. Please see all the photographs, this is the car you will receive. Original box is not included. (#4 of the 3474's)

Lionel Trains Western Pacific Operating Box Car No. 3474The Western Pacific Operating Box Car No. 3474 would be the last of the 9-1/4" cars of this type that would be issued. It was last produced in 1953 this car was also available during the previous year. Hereafter, Lionel would produce only the 10-1/2" operating box cars beginning with the No. 3484.spacer
Rubberized man is activated by a plunger mechanism that is triggered by the use of a UCS or No. 6019 Uncoupling track.

The doors for this car are painted SILVER and YELLOW, however, the body of the car has a YELLOW feather, and "Rides Like a Feather" in BLACK decal. With age the decal film has turned BROWN. The body, like the door, is painted SILVER. This car has bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers."
