Up for auction is a tin friction 1950's MG race car made by Bandai of Japan. It measures 8 1/4 inches long and it is complete and original. It is in excellent condition with great color and a really nice surface gloss. The paint is in very good condition with a few small rubs and small scratches. The metal trim is bright and shiny and complete. The car still has its original windshield "glass"; it is in pretty good condition with one small partial crack, best seen in the next to last photo. The hubcaps, tires, and base are in beautiful condition and the friction motor works well. It isn't perfect but this is a very nice version of a great 50's race car. It is pictured on page 183 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars Commercial and Racing Vehicles. Thanks for looking!!!
