For sale is my wife's Peugeot 208. We've owned it since April 2019 and it has probably been the best car either of us has ever owned. Since then it has been serviced locally by independent garages that we trust. It has just had an interim service (16/01/26) and an MOT which runs until 10th February 2027. In October 2024, we had the cambelt replaced so this isn't an expense you'll need to incur. The car is low mileage at less than 52k miles but this will go up slightly as it's still in daily use.

Sadly, the car was registered as a Cat S in 2018. We bought it after it had been professionally repaired and MOT'd and since then it has been extremely reliable and very cheap to run. As it was registered before April 2017, and with an emissions rating of only 90g/km CO2, the car costs nothing to tax!! You'll see from the pictures that's it's in very good condition but with a few age related marks.

The 208s of this age have a very solid feel to them and are extremely comfortable to ride in. We've taken the car on holiday in the UK several times before - there's over 300 litres of space in the hatch with the back seats up. We have also bought fitted window blinds to the two rear doors to provide sun shading and privacy for our kids, as well as to improve security for the car as a whole.

Taking it steady around town, the car will return 55mpg, and on a longer run you can get more like 65+mpg. 

All in all this is a very solid, well spec'd, great looking car which is cheap to run. It'd make an excellent first car for someone, or if you're looking for a car with plenty of life left in it that won't break the bank.
