- Gibson ES-330TD 1967
- The ES-330 was a model produced and shipped from 1959 to 1972.
- At first glance, it looks like a semi-acoustic guitar similar to the ES-335,
- but it's a fully hollow-bodied, thin-line (slim) full-acoustic guitar without a center block inside the body.
- While the ES-335 has a neck joint at the 19th fret,
- the ES-330 has a deep joint connected at the 16th fret.
- The overall specifications are almost identical to the Epiphone Casino.
- The Casino began production in 1961 as the Epiphone version of the ES-330 after Epiphone was acquired by Gibson.
- This "ES-330TD" is dated 1967 according to the serial number,
- but the pot date is 1966. The bridge saddles are white nylon, a specification used until 1966.
- The 16-inch archtop body has a full acoustic structure.
- The body is made of high-quality maple wood.
- The neck is a one-piece mahogany with a thick profile reminiscent of the 1950s.
- The rosewood fingerboard has block position markers.
- The tuners are Kluson Deluxe with a two-line engraving.
- The bridge is an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic with nylon saddles.
- The tailpiece is a trapeze.
- The pickguard is a white-black-white three-ply.
- The controls are 2 Volume, 2 Tone, and 1 pickup selector.
- The pickups are metal-covered dog-ear P-90 single-coil pickups.
- It has a wonderful sound that combines the sharp clarity and warm sound pressure characteristic of the P-90.
