  • It is a French fashion caricature depicting the large, fashionable "poke bonnets" of the Regency era, which were so large that the wearers' faces were almost entirely obscured. 
  • The print was originally published by Martinet in Paris. 
  • This particular print is framed in a distressed gilt frame
