In very good condition. James Montross Burt (July 18, 1917 – February 15, 2006) was a United States Army armor officer who received the Medal of Honor for his valor in the Battle of Aachen during World War II.

James M. Burt received the Medal of Honor for his actions on October 13, 1944, near Wurselen, Germany. As a tank company commander, he dismounted under intense enemy fire to lead isolated infantry troops forward. For hours, he moved between tanks and infantry, exposing himself repeatedly to enemy fire to direct attacks and coordinate support. His leadership was critical in repelling enemy forces and holding the line.

*Common Questions Please Read: Items up for auction will not be re-listed. After an auction ends the items will be available for buy it now, generally at 2-3 times the auction price. With our auctions we aim to give buyers the opportunity to purchase items at a discounted rate and to offer competitive pricing on our items. New auctions will be every Friday at 6pm PST. If you noticed a mistake in any of our listings feel free to let us know so we can correct it, rude or disrespectful messages will result in a block. International shipping rates are not something we can change as we are enrolled in eBay’s international shipping program, we apologize for the inconvenience, this program protects our items shipped over seas.

*Shipping is high, we know, but the item price has been lowered to account for the high shipping charge.

*Payment is not required immediately, although preferred. We can hold auction items for several days without payment but if not payed for before the next auction, the item(s) will be cancelled as will any active bids.

*Additional photographs will not be provided, we get this request a lot when the back side isn’t shown. If the back isn’t shown it’s because there is no damage, it’s completely blank, or it was described in the description.

*OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED unless they are turned on, please do not message with an offer unless the offer option is available. Offers sent will be ignored unless the offer option is open or the offer is too good to refuse.
