I’ve purchased a generous collection of Lands End swimsuits for myself from their catalog over the years, rarely have access to a swimming pool nowadays, hardly ever go to the beach 35 miles away, and would like to send a few of the suits along to another nice lady.

Lands End sells nice mix-and-match swimsuits. Please see another listing for the solid black skirt bottom, as well as more of my Lands End swimsuits. (And I believe Lands End sold the floral bikini top to match these bottoms.)

Even though this ensemble is a few years old, I’d say it’s still in excellent used condition. I only wore it maybe 3 or 4 times at most.

*** PLEASE NOTE that I handwashed this again before listing, but it still smells of chlorine.

- Lands End brand. I purchased this brand new from the Lands End catalog a few years ago.

- This is something of a tankini style of bathing suit. The top has a tank-top appearance with a rounded scoop neckline. It reaches down past the waistline of the bottom piece so provides full coverage.

- Please see that the floral outer fabric hangs fairly loosely as it approaches the hemline.

- Size 16 for the top. In reference, I usually wear a Large in my everyday tops. Please ask (or check the Lands End size chart) if you have questions.

- Size 14 for the bottom. I usually wear a 10 in trousers.

- Features a black background with large red and hot pink tropical flowers scattered throughout. Please see photos for other colors on the fabric.

- The tank-like top has a scoop neck and back.

- The bra is lightly padded and lined in white. It IS an underwire bra.

- Please see that the pads are removable and are somewhat shaped. There’s an opening at the underarm for the pads to slip in and out.

- Please note that this is an empire-style top, with the horizontal “waist” seam just under the bust. That allows some extra room and coverage around the tummy!

- While the front features an under-bust seam for the empire look in the floral fabric, the back is not seamed in that area. However, the white elastic beneath the bra cups wraps the entire way around the white lining.

- If I remember correctly, the bottom came up to around my belly button? It’s definitely not a tiny bikini style and instead, gives good coverage. It may have been the Lands End “Hi-rise” bottom, but I’m not for sure.

- The bottom is completely lined in white.

- The top consists of 2 layers: the floral outer fabric and the separate inner “lining” which is very stretchy and clings to the body.

- That tight inner lining is only attached at the top. I’ve tried to show that in photos. At the base of that white lining is a rubbery piece to hold the lining against the body (so it doesn’t float up while you’re in the water). It also has a narrow section of the flora fabric so the white lining doesn’t unnecessarily show from underneath.

- The outer fabric of the top was loose and somewhat “flowy” on me after it dropped from the empire waist under the bust. It almost has an A-line shape (while the white fabric beneath is form-fitting).

- Straps are adjustable.

- *** I handwashed the 2 pieces, but they still have a chlorine smell.

- Measurements are approximate. Laid flat, the top measures about about 16.5” side to side under the arms - without any stretching on my part. See the Lands End size chart for exactly what bust size this fits.

- The top of the swimsuit bottom measures 16.5” across for a measurement of around 33” at just below the waistline.

- There’s stretch in both pieces.

- Both pieces are a combination of nylon, spandex, and polyester. Please see size tags for exact content.

- There’s a very small amount of stretch from the elastic at the leg holes and at the waistline. There’s also elastic in the lower part of bra section.

- All my suits have been safely stored in a box under my bed.

*** Again, please be aware of the remaining chlorine smell.

I’ll wrap the pieces in tissue paper and probably send them in a reused Mylar mailing baggie to save on postage. Cost will be $8.30.
